What to expect
Our morning services start at either 9.30am or 11.30am and are very informal, lasting for just over an hour. Both services are identical and only differ by the time they start.
There is ample free parking in our car park and the surrounding area, we also have use of nearby car parks for your convenience. There will be car park attendants on duty to direct you upon arrival, but additionally we have also put together a map of the places to park which you can download by clicking here.
We start with a time of worship, which lasts for about 30 minutes. Then someone will do a bible-related talk, followed by an opportunity to receive prayer. Mid-way through we take a short break, after which baskets of chocolate are passed round.
After each service there is the opportunity to meet some of our team at the Information Point and find out more our about this church. If you are visiting and have any questions please speak to the Welcome Team or visit the Information Point at any point during your visit.
If you are looking for a church and have children, we would love for you to join us. On Sundays we have groups that run for the entirety of the service for any child from 6 months up to School Year 5. As they enter Year 6 they also move up to our youth group.
Every week at Church we have a separate youth programme called ‘Journey’ for those in years 6-11. The youth stay in for the Worship, then during the break leave for their group. They take some time to get to hang out, play games, learn more about Jesus and pray for one another.
We currently offer a minibus pick up and drop off service on Sunday mornings. After our service we host several student lunches across the city, then in the week we have prayer and worship events, Open Mic Nights, blessing the community and loads more.
Our next Alpha Course starts on Thursday 9th October and runs for 7 weeks.
We have now moved all our services to the new building on Freemen’s Common.
After hearing from Lisa Samuelsen on Sunday 29th June, you can now give to her organisation ‘Eden Ministry’ through this page.
