Our Church is staffed by a combination of volunteers and employed staff, who oversee the co-ordination of the church ministry between them.

Steve & Juliet Barber - Church Leaders

Juliet Barber and her husband Steve are the Senior Pastors at Leicester City Vineyard, having planted the Church in 2007 and previously pastored Southend Vineyard.

Steve and Juliet head up Church Planting for Vineyard Churches in UK & Ireland (VCUKI); whilst Juliet coordinates the Vineyard Bible Training Taskforce for VCUKI.

They have two children, whilst in their spare time Steve & Juliet live in Starbucks.

jono-and-lucy-bradley-300pxJono & Lucy Bradley - Worship and Youth Co-ordinators

Jono and Lucy head up the Youth ministry at Leicester City Vineyard, whilst Jono also co-ordinates Worship at the Church.

Together they oversee pastoral care of the Youth within the Church, including mid-week Youth small groups, Youth Celebrations and Sunday groups. Jono co-ordinates the different bands at church and is one of the worship leaders on a Sunday morning.

Lucy works as a midwife, whilst Jono can be found in the Church offices. They have three children and a caravan.

mark-and-anna-crosbyMark & Anna Crosby - Family Co-ordinators

Mark and Anna oversee pastoral care of families in Leicester City Vineyard, including co-ordinating the Marriage Course, Parenting Course, Money Management course, Sunflowers (Parents and Toddler Group), Family Lunches and Fun Days. Together they run the Marriage Course, and Anna leads Sunflowers.

They moved to Leicester in 2007 to help plant Leicester City Vineyard, having previously been in Preston Vineyard before travelling the world.

They have two children. Anna works as a nurse, whilst Mark works in Marketing.

tim-and-ruth-messeder-300pxTim & Ruth Messeder - Administration and Student Co-ordinators

Tim works in the Church office and is the first point of contact for many people as the church grows. Together they oversee pastoral care of students in the church, including student small groups, student lunches, open mic nights, serving the student community and growing the work that the church does with students in Leicester.

Tim and Ruth also oversee Mission activities and administrate house groups in the church. 

They have one child. Ruth works as a support worker.

jenny-allen-300pxJenny Allen - Kids Co-ordinator

Jenny oversees the Children’s Church at Leicester City Vineyard, which includes children of 6 months to 10 years old. She has multiple teams working under her who provide fun-filled Children’s programmes on a Sunday.

Jenny was one of the first people to join Leicester City Vineyard in 2007 and began Children’s Church with only a handful of Children, to the large number that they now have.

Jenny works as a Primary School teacher and has lived in Leicester all her life.

Phil & Erica - Newcomers Co-ordinators

Phil and Erica oversee the ‘host’ team at LCV, which includes the welcome team, newcomers’ events and Alpha.

Erica was formerly on the staff at Holy Trinity Brompton (the birthplace of Alpha) and together they joined LCV from Bristol Vineyard, bringing with them a wealth of experience. Phil regularly speaks at Church and Erica has been instrumental in growing the Sunflowers Parent & Toddler group.

Penny Davis - Vineyard Bible Training Administrator and PA to Steve Barber

Penny administrates Vineyard Bible Training for Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland, which includes School of Ministry. Working with Juliet, Penny co-ordinates the distribution of Vineyard Bible Training materials to local churches.

Penny is part-time, has been around the Vineyard for longer than anyone can remember and has three children and a wonderful husband.

Hannah MacDonald - Storehouse Administrator

Hannah administers our compassion ministry ‘Storehouse’, which includes the facilitation and working with other charities and hostels, receiving food, furniture and clothing, distributing this to the poor in Leicester and co-ordinating volunteers.
