What we do
We do a number of things to help you if you are thinking about making this church your own.
Our Children's team run kids programmes both on a Sunday and during the week, for babies right up to Year 5. As a team, we are passionate about all the kids that God brings our way whether on Sunday mornings or during the week. We want Vineyard Kids to be a place where the kids and the team love to be - fun and exciting! In partnership with the parents and carers we want to model Jesus' love to them.
From Year 6 up, we have an active Youth programme at Leicester City Vineyard, which includes time on a Sunday, mid-week small groups, Social events, large (and loud) Celebrations, plus trips and holidays.
We are delighted as a church to be in a fantastic city with two universities. Here at Leicester City Vineyard we love students and all they have to offer. We have a thriving student population who have plenty of socials, parties, events and other activities that happen throughout the month, as well as church bus service to help them get to church.
Families are very welcome here at Leicester City Vineyard and as well the active Vineyard Kids programmes on a Sunday morning, we also hold a range of social and practical events for Families during the week. From Family Lunches and Fun Days, to Marriage Courses, Parenting Workshops, Money Courses, Date Nights and Parties.
Storehouse is a Leicester City Vineyard initiative, formed to work with existing hostels and drop-in centres to serve the homeless, hungry and vulnerably housed people in Leicester.
We believe that there is a role for the church today in serving outside of our country. So we have formed links with churches and projects around the globe and also work closely with Vineyard Churches, to ensure that we are helpful and effective where we serve.
