Youth
We have an active Youth programme "Journey" at Leicester City Vineyard, which includes time on a Sunday, mid-week small groups, Social events, large (and loud) Celebrations, plus trips and holidays.
Journey was started in April 2008 with the vision of changing the lives of the youth we come into contact with. Our mission is to see Jesus impact the lives of these young people and mould them to become more like Him. We have a passion for building up a youth who worship God through the good times and the bad, who are excited about building a relationship with Him, who desire to study their Bible more, and who have a heart for reaching out to the community in which we live.
Every week at Church we have a separate youth programme for those aged 11+, the youth start off in the main service for the worship time and then go to their group on the same floor.
They take some time to get to know each other, learn more about Jesus and pray for one another; hot chocolate and cake are always involved! At the end they hang out and play a few games together.
Visiting youth or new young people to the church are very welcome to go to any of our Youth events. If you need more information please email our Youth co-ordinators Jono & Lucy Bradley, or look out for the Youth workers at church wearing bright blue hoodies.
